Turbo problems
I have a 96 fuel turned up, fuel plate shaved blow off plugged, cheap mods but this is the second HX35 ive blown in two weeks need ideas and help on how to fix the problem is it the oil sending unit is it boosting to hard or whatever i havent the slightest clue i just take the stuff off and replace it not a rocket scientist. NEED HELP

You're overspooling the turbo with the wastegate bypassed. Anything over 35psi is a waste and is just hot air with an HX35. Do you ever let the engine idle for a few minutes before you shut the truck off? After the engine is shut down the oil stops flowing through the turbocharger, but the turbo is still spinning. This hot oil turns into carbon build up and can destroy the bearings or turbine shaft, thats why you're supposed to let the engine idle for about 3-5 minutes to get the oil temps down and cool off the turbo. Take the bad turbo apart and look at the guts, it can tell you what's going wrong. Post pics if you want answers. I used to build & repair turbochargers...in most cases some other issue causes turbocharger failure, not the turbocharger itself.
