1998 12 valve idling problem
 
i cant find the adjustment screw for the low idle. anybody know were its at? a picture would be nice

its on the back of the pump next to the linkage

im new to diesels i just bought mine its a 1998 5.9L 12 valve how long can you go with an oil change. when i bought it there wasnt a book for it.

My habit is 3K-ish. A great many will run synthetic oil for really long intervals, while changing the filter and replacing that volume about every 3k.

Total volume is about 10 liters, or 11quarts. I once brain-cramped the whole 3 gallons into the crank-case with no obvious ill effect, but a proper fill is only 11, not 12, quarts.
