How big of a deal is it to replace a headgasket?

 

There's nothing real tricky about it that I can think of, but you'll almost certainly have to have the head decked. They warp pretty easily.

 

Yeah, I thought it was pretty easy when I did it. I did rush it a little and it cost me a bit extra. Make sure you unplug the water temp sensor at the back of the head, undo the RPM sensor and unbolt the oil filler neck. I had to deck mine but I planned on it because I was O-ringing it.
