Are you looking for a diagram of the idle spring, and the 2/3 other springs, shims, and pedastals, in the governor assembly?

the whole thing...really just trying to figure out how it works....the idle part of it and the limiting part

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i guess what i am wanting to know is if the outer spring only controls the idle and the center springs only control top RPM's...thanks if anyone can tell me or show me proof :c:

The outer spring and shims control the idle, and they are called the idle springs. The inner springs do control the RPM.

i guess to truely answer the question im wondering about....if the 2 center springs were solid would it still idle?
