My kid put gas in his 94 cummins

My kid loaned his truck to a friend who got low on fuel and put two cycle gas about two gallons in his truck, drove maybe 10 miles and realized his mistake. The truck was filled with diesel and has been driving but has a slight miss under accelleration and excess smoke under load. What possible damage if any may have occoured?

If you're sure the excess smoke started occurring as a result of or immediately after the gasoline, I'm gonna guess one or more hoofed injectors.

worn pump from lack of lubrication and burnt out injectors:ouch::bat:

wait so you've been driving the truck with the gas in the tank?
I've heard you need to just take oil and put it in the tank.

His pin head buddy got the wrong can and put the wrong fuel in it then drove it. Don't let people barrow your vehicle if they don't know what diesel means.

i would fill it with diesel and a pint of 2 cycle oil. but then again.... if he drove it the damage is prob already done.:argh:
