is a larger turbo needed?

hey guys i plan on getting sdx 75 or 90 horse injectors here in the near future so with that much more fuel do i need a larger turbo? i like to smoke everynownthen but i want it to be efficent and they claim with 75s you will see 2-3 mpg is that bs or acually true?? oh and one more this truck was my dads bought new it now has around 233k on stock tranny but isnt showing any signs of going down. should i wait on these injectors and save for tranny rebuild and if so what hp rating should i get it built for like i said im thinkin mild single turbo upgrade conservative fuel plate and 75-90 injectors what power rage would i be in?? thanks-Dean

for what all you thinkin bout doin, u will deffinately need some trans work. with the 100 and the 90s u will smoke the stock trans unless you keep your foot out of it all the time. as long as the trans is still working good with no signs of it getting weaker, u may beable to get by with just a TC and VB. but with 230k on the stock trans, it would be best to do a complete rebuild imo.

Ed is right. As far as the turbo is concerned, yes it needs upgraded most likely. However you can run with it by all means. Im running 5x.014's with an H1C just gotta watch your temps and boost.
