been toying with the idea of water meth for a while, egt get outta hand quickly running about 900 going down the interstate, and will easily hit 1600 and beyond if i get to far into it, im planning on pulling a 14 foot crago fully loaded with rope this summer, would a water meth kit help if so where should i go to get one i been looking at the snow stage 3 kit but am a little hesitant on the 730 dollar price tag thanks

 

we have the stage 3 water/meth kit from snow performance on a 03 5.9 it increased mpgs by 2.1,dropped egts from 1600 to about 1100 but this truck has alot of fueilng upgrades your egt should go a lil lower then what ours did

 

It would definitely help alot, but big fuel and towing heavy don't go together very well without the air to cool it. How much weight is a 14' trailer load of rope, anyway?

 

its really not alot im guessing about 5 to 6 thousand pounds, but where i take it there are plenty of hills, i used to use a box truck and by the time i got to the top i was creeping in first, i recently towed our farmall h and it was a challenge to keep the egt from taching out
