12valvetater 04-06-2011 09:24 PM

I wouldn't run lucas in my lawnmower.

You should pull your gasser apart after runnin that crap and see the globs of ship in it :td:

94Cummins! 04-06-2011 10:33 PM

i run it in my cummins it actually slowed down and stopped most of my drips and i gain a few pounds of oil pressure

tiremann9669 04-06-2011 10:53 PM

i used the tranny stuff once a long time ago and it helped my toasted tranny out quite a bit, but i guess thats a bit diff from motor oil huh

Rustin 04-07-2011 12:25 AM

I use it in my fuel. I only put Z-max in my oil.

TreeSurgeon 04-07-2011 09:37 PM

I am not a big fan of any "Snake Oil" or "Weasel piss" additives.:puke:Over the years I have had many different vehicles, both gas and diesel, and put on a lot of miles without any.
However, if it works for you, carry on.
Just my 2 cents.

I use it in the racecar helps with bearing life but that is with super hot oil, alcohol fuel, and babbit bearings. I don't see the need for street vehilces to have it.

i assume its the same as everything else in this world... used as directed it could work as intended with no sideeffects... used otherwise adverse results, who knows. then again anyone and everyone makes a better product than the last guy lol never had issues with lucas... but theres probably a good reason you dunt run lucas in your lawn mower... most lawnmowers use a peg to splash oil around to lubricate things. lucas probably makes it too thick and you'd toast your 7.5 hp engine anyways hahaha
