just finished doing my swap and i have no start issue, i have power to the ignition switch, and all of the fuses and relays are good, aslo the truck starts with a hot start button but not with the key switch

 

is it turning over or is it acting like its not getting any power?

 

double check ur "engine" fuse on the fuse block in the cab. when i finished the 5 speed swap on mine, it would fire only when the starter was engaged, but as soon as the key went to the run position it would die. that was my problem. even if the fuse looks good, change it n see what happens

 

was it auto before, they have switch to only start when in park.

 

would it have a safety switch on the clutch that is not hooked up.

 

just bypass the net. safe switch on the clutch master cyl (rod under dash that works the clutch) the switch is there has two wires one goes ground , one goes to think its a black w\grn stripe

 

Your truck having an automatic had a neutral safety switch on the tranny so you need to rig up somthing to bypass it. Probably a jumper wire between the 2 wires for the switch and she'll start right up. The other thing you gotta be carefull about is not having the clutch saftry switch hoohked up your truck will fire right up and take off in gear. I'm not sure but maybe you can hook the wires from the NSS up to the CSS someone who has done the swap might chime in.

Ut I wanna jump the wire at the nss but I don't know wich ones, an the CSS is no big deal cause I'm the only one who drives it
