Default wastegate and star wheel

hi i was wondering if anyone could give me the steps on wireing my wastgare shut? its stuck open. and how far should i crank my stra wheel will it ruin my engine or tranny? or what about slideing my stock fuel plate forward i just got the truck less than a year ago

slide it forward and adjust the star wheel to match. if you do too much on the starwheel then it won't do you any good.

ok will slidding the stock plate ruin my tranny?

no. transmissions are all different but you should be able to slide it forward without any issues. if you take it out, you might slip a little and don't do more than 30 pounds of boost without doing the heads

ok thanks man big help. do you know anything about the wastegate. mines got a rot hole in it. and i took my turbo off and the wastegate is wide open until i hit over drive then it shuts.

well actually, I'm having issues with my wastegate as well. it's not working until overdrive either. I tore into it last night but couldn't get it off and the rain drove me away. maybe i'll try tonight. I'll let you know how hard that screw is
