So my 5th gear nut backed off again so I tore everything down to fix it, I splined 5th gear back in and tightened the nut town and threw a tack on it so it wouldnt do it again. Anyways I got everything put back together and was ready to drive it but I went to put it in gear and it wont drop into any of the holes where the gears are but it still acts as if nuetral is there...... Any Ideas???

i've never heard of this before... has your clutch actuator given up... does it act the same with the truck off ??

 

Yeah I started my truck to see if it changed things and it acted the same way as it did when the truck was off
