Default what gear ratios should i get?

I currently have 4.10s with 33 inch tires. the RPM's at 70 mph are around 2300. they came down when i got the tires but it's still way too high. With the Dana 60 front and the Dana 70 rear, should I get 3.73 or go all the way to 3.54? I don't do too much pulling but when I do it's 10-15 thousand pounds. I don't want to ruin my diesel so that it can't pull anything but i'd like to get around 20 or 22 mpg. i currently get 16

i pull 30k+ for a living with 3.54's and a six speed... get about 2 mpgs better than dad towing he has 3.73's... his is a 1 ton mines 3/4.... not to mention somewhere around 10 mpg's better than him empty... his is a 6.7... i love the 3.54... i would like 3.73 for strictly towing but i dont see a swap in my future

3.73 would be a good middle ground

I would go with 3.54, they get better mpg. If your not going to tow very much then 4.10 would sort of be pointless. The only way I would like 4.10's is if I had a really tall over drive, then its best of both worlds.

I hate the 4.10 and lost 3.5 mpg on flat ground I want to use it for a paper weight
