not a huge difference, it just helps to keep ya in the bowl, since you raised the head up you need to lower the injector to put it back down to where is would normally be

think thats my boost problem? bc its not hittin the bowl right?

I don't think thats your problem with boost but its something you should do. did you reset your valve lash?

i checked it about a week after i got the head on.. thats been quite a while. probably check it again sometime when it starts warming up. so what do u think my boost problem is? turbo junk? it did kinda sit in my garage for a few months uncovered :/

the boost problem happened between the headgasket change, i didnt pop the gasket, just did it bc i got the studs and everything. only thing changed was .20 headgasket, .10 off the head, valve job, 60# valve springs, changed timing from 18 to 22.5, and studs added. later it got an airdog 150 and comp dv's

if he decked it, but went with the thicker gasket, he should be back at the same compression right? So running thinner washers would be like lowering the timing. That definitely won't help.

Any chance you are running too much fuel for the stocker, and just killing it? Have you checked to see how free the wheels spin?

only took .10 off the head and put in a .20 gasket.. so im .10 higher than stock. and i the only thing that i can think of was either the turbo sitting while the truck was apart or me bumping the timing from 18 to 22.5 while the head was off. and yes a lot of fuel for the stock turbo but b4 the head it was fine, the problem started b4 the dvs and airdog. i didnt do anything to the fuel system while the truck was apart.
