thinking about some mods to the 97, need input

Ok, so I'm still new to the 12vers, but I had a few thoughts, and was hoping to get some input. Ill be getting guages in about a week, hopefully less, and getting them in. Boost, pyro, and trans. After that I was thinking about two things. One, if I can find someone who can do timing, to set the pump at 16 degrees, and then pulling the afc off to mod it a bit. I'm not sure if I want to go all the way forward, since I'm running on a recently rebuilt stock tranny, so I was wondering if instead of pushing the fuel plate all the way forward, if I just went say, halfway forward....is this even possible? If not, how many people have done their afc mods to a stock tranny, and had their tranny hold up?

think you will be find with the stock plate pushed ahead. the first mod i would do is a 3 or 4k gov spring and fix the kdp.

X2 on the Gov. spring.
You might try grinding the foot off the plate and see how you like that. Trans may not depending on your driving habits lol

maybe delivery valves gov springs and ddp injectors, and a turbo upgrade to keep up with the fuel:rocking:

Uh not on stock trans! And ddp injectors are way over priced! Better product for better money!
