Default injector leeks

the injector on cylinder #2 on my 94 12v spits fuel from around the top of the injector were the line goes into it. its to the point where the truck wont run from the air its letting in the system, when you crank it you can hear it going puff puff puff as the compression leeks by it. when it was running it was just spitting fuel everywhere. all i have in mind as of now is just take it apart, clean it and put it back together, is there anything that goes bad on these that causes a leek? its not a northern truck, the liens arent rusty or anything.

are all the line clamps still on? could be a cracked injector line ... that is if your sure thats where its leaking from, if compression is blowing up there check your injector hold down nut and that copper sealing washer

Should be easy to find the problem. Clean the area and make sure it is dry. Have someone crank the engine over and watch for the leak.

turns out the injector was loose. i pulled it and cleaned the sealing washer and tightened it down and it runs fine again. but why would it have come loose?

could have been loose the whole time and just worked it self out, could have been some dirt under that copper washer when installed
