i was looking at putting the 60mm wheel on my hx35. but it needs machine to fit. can i do it my self with a grinding bit. also is there a trick putting it back together so i don't have to get it balance

ok thanks. so the machining is know big deal. also did you have yours rebalanced

I haven't done mine yet. in theory, every wheel should be balanced on its own, allowing it to be installed at any position on the shaft.

thats what i thought that the wheel should be round so there should be no need to balance it.but i have been reading post and some guys balance them and some don't.

i know that power strokes and cummins are different but when i did my psd i put a differet intake wheel on it and i didnt have it balance and it is still on the road that was about 8000 miles ago and i was NOT NICE to that truck and i was makeing over 35# boost and it still is as far as i know the wheels are balance seperate from each other hope this helps
