Where did my power go?

Yesterday my 94 12v lost all power while sitting at a stop sign. I had to limp it the rest of the way to my buddies house and then all the way home again. I had filled up the day before at a new gas station because of their 20c off discount so my first thought was that shit in the tanks had clogged up my fuel filter. So i changed that and the problem actually seemed to get worse cause today I cant even drive it over 25mph without going downhill..

Symptoms:
NO smoke except on startup
No power
Fuel pedal is really hard to push
When I disengage the clucth and take the load off the motor idle drops to 2-300 then pops back up to only 500 rpms

It just flat out feels like its starving for fuel but I already changed the filter Im wondering if the fuel shutoff solenoid didnt get tripped somehow and how do I check that?

Any ideas?

suck tube could be clogged.... ip or lp may be bad. i would check fuel pressure at the ip first

So it is dark and raining tonight I cant see much but I did notice that the metal canister that bolts onto the AFC housing has broken out the bolt hole on the back side of the AFC. I beleive that canister is a fuel regulator of some kind but correct me if im wrong...

that is your problem. you are getting no boost to your afc meaning no rack travel= not much fuel to your injectors!

Okay guys I found the problem, it was the emergency fuel shutoff! Upon closer inspection it had ripped out the bolt holes on the AFC housing and fallen over and because it is a gravity fed system cut off almost all my fuel. A few helicoils and grinding a new bracket later she runs better than ever.
