lowering
anybody got any ideas on how to get a 96 single cab lwb a couple inches lower..goin for a sporty look:rocking: thanks guys

i used lowering springs on mine...the ride sucked. if you use lowering spindles and drop shackles in the rear it will not affect the ride quality. I think they look awesome lowered.

u dont bc its a truck not a rice rocket

he's not askin opinions, he's askin how to do it. ya never know, he might be buildin the truck to drag race... but x2 on what haymafia said. lowering spindles n some drop shackles, maybe some smaller blocks between the rear diff n the springs, also could remove a leaf if ur not gonna be towin or haulin. its ur truck man, as long as ur happy with it, who gives a crap what everybody else thinks.:rocking:

X2 on c12vpower. Don't ruin it. Keep it a truck.

Ya if you live in the city and never take them off road an hate that extra six inches into your cab there fine. Me I couldn't do without clearance.

thanks for the feed back for the people that actually had ideas on how to lower it and i am actually building for racing..and not to toot my own horn but i hae 3 trucks and there all 4x4 and pretty tall so i think i kno how a truck is suppossed to look..any other opinion? i had the thought run through my mind to use 2wd 2500 springs in the front and use blocks to get the rear down
