95 busted tranny again

for starters my dodge is a 2wd longbed, only has 4in exhaust and a bhf air filter and a #8 fuel plate.
It has only being about three months since my tranny was completely rebuilt from a local tranny shop in tri-city area Michigan. I have only drove about 7-8k miles since then and only towed 2 trailers with it. The tranny shop won't stand behind there warranty work for the one year unlimited mileage part of my auto tranny. I was driving home from college and the truck started to rev hig in 3rd and i let off and it shifted into 4th. I turned the corner drove half mile and still didn't grab 4th? then a mile down the road I lost 3rd then I could only drive about 20mph around 2200rpms and I did check the fluid level. It was good but the color was brownish red. I got back in the truck and tried to move it. It felt ilke nothing was there. You could fell it shake under your feet and then finaly moved foward enough to get it off the road and have a tow-truck take it to the tranny shop. Its being two weeks and the shop still hasn't looked at it, but the tell me I must have hauled the Sh*t out of it. to not to get it to move.

So the real question is what do I do with the warranty they said was there when I first got the truck three months ago? :argh:

if you just had the trans built 3 months ago and they gave you a one year warranty, i say you need to go ahead and hire a lawyer and sue them for breach of contract,or failure to deliver on there end.

i hope everything gets better for you.

I have to decide if the fight is worth it. If I do go to court I will tell everyone I now and everyone reading this how I was backdoored on a warranty and the name of the company to follow. Word of mouth can be a great thing for a guy like me.

the re wont work in the 95 as it has the rh tranny,

check for electrical problems with the tranny, i have a 95 and it did the same thing to me with about 4 trannys before someone found a short and the tc wasnt locking all the way, i wired up two switches for od and lock-up and the tranny last another hard 8k on a bad tc

can i run switches on my 94 for od and lock up? if so do you have a diagram or something

its easy you have a 3 pin connector on the trans on the driver side, the middle pin is 12v ing. source in, the pins on either side are for lock up and od, you just have to run a wire to them and then to a switch and then to a good chasis ground, use to seperate switches

for mine i have a high/low dimmer switch on the floor board under the e-brake for od and then i a monetary switch in rigged up in the center consel for lock-up, its hooked up to a relay which sense the brake lights and turns off lock-up (you dont have to do yours this way) but dont forget to take it out of lock up before you stop and if you want it to down shift out of od
