94 cummins dually conversion?
 

I have a 94 cummins, just the standard cab long bed and I was wondering if there was a way that I could make it a dually. I have seen pulling trucks like that but I sure don't have the budget they have! Would I have to get an entirely new rear axle or what? and how much would you guess this conversion would cost?

buy a dually rearend and sell yours. the front hubs are just bolt on spacers. the rearend is a direct bolt in.

The difference Is the rear end, the bed, and the springs. You could get away with not changing the springs if you're just looking for the extra stability of the dual rear wheels and not the extra pay load.

Y buy a dually rear end?? they are the same width as far as i kno except for cab and chassis trucks like mine they are narrower and came factory with a rear stabilizer.....so u DONT need to buy an axle just 6 wheels and 6 tires try and find 16in dually wheels from like the 98-01 models they have more offset to run 235/85/16 tires the older models were meant to run 215/85/16 which 235s will fit on but they will rub when loaded down (rubbing tires=blowouts) also buy a set of dually fenders for for stock bed used set or something they use the same pickup box bed

You might be right. I know for sure the AMM 14 bolt axles on GM trucks are wider on the dually's then they are on single wheeled trucks. This might not be true for the dodge trucks however. Even if this is the case I would assume you would need to swap out for the dually hubs. Just getting a dually axle might be easier.

If it was me on a budget id by bolt on spacers for the wheels if ther was any inside dual issues as far as hitting the wheel on drum if thts what u r referring to all my friends 3/4 to dually conversions for welding trucks nvr had ne issues i knew of they just put the spacers in usually bought a kit for front and back, 3/4 trucks we dont hve to run DOT numbers so ive put on 3 sets for guys last year cant member name of copany we used but ther is companies who sell a package deal

You'll need a 2.5" spacer for the rear end to use yours
