speedi sleeves

I've worn two grooves in the spindle finish on my rear axle where the bearing seal sits and have an annoying leak. I need one of these sleeves to fix it. I've called every parts house in town and either we have a lot of bad parts guys or these things are hard to track down. Does anyone know a part number for the repair kit or know the dimensions of the spindle ODs? Thanks guys

I bought my last speedy sleeve at a bearing place. If you get the part number off the seal the guy at the bearing store can look up what size speedy sleeve to use.

Try a heavy duty truck shop and see if they can track down the correct size.

The more i think abt this are you talking about the outer axle or pinion yolk? Because if your tryin to go on the outer housing your not gonna find one

I'm talking about the actual rear spindle that the axle slides through, wheel bearings roll on, and provides the wheel sealing surface. I know they make one for the D60 and a bunch of others...which is why I find it odd that this is such a strange part to get.

These guys may have answered my question. It seems the best solution is to just to install the seal at a different depth to get the seal to ride on fresh metal.
