rough idle
 

Ok guys i am new to the site and to diesels. I have a 95 dodge 2500 4x4 cummins has 251,000 on the clock. truck ran great till i changed fuel filter. Now here is where my rookie mistake happened since its my first diesel. I filled fuel filter with fuel and then tried to start it and it airlocked. I know now that i should have cracked the bleed bolt on the filter housing and primed it. well i got it primed by cracking the return line overflow valve bolt and injector lines one at a time till i got it running. now the truck idles rough like it is missing. has power under acceleration. could my overflow valve craped out on me. it has no problem starting.
