dodge emblem help!!!
 
im trying to take off the ram 2500 emblems on my truck doors. the previous owner but them on with like rtv or some kind of adhesive. ive been working on one door now for almost and hour and im still not done:argh:. ive used scrapers, mineral spirits, paint thinner. idk what else to do to get it all off. any help???

I've seen stuff marketed specifically for bumper stickers and such, maybe something like that would work. Also, if you have a heat gun, it might help. Just make sure you have it on a low setting and keep it moving so you don't melt your paint. :scare2:

sorry i forgot to say i was using a heat gun. the gun does help but its still not comin off very well:dang:

try remington gun oil or penetrating oil, the thin viscosity of the oil will actually get under the adhesive and make it turn loose like a sticker put onto an oily surface. the gun oil is what i used to get the 3M super adhesive off of my doors that someone had put under the factory 3500 emblems.

Fishing line...and wd40 or automotive adhesive remover to get rid of the residue

3M rubber eraser wheel ftw only way to do it
