97 track bar problem
I have a 97dodge 2500 diesel and the trac bar bracket hole on the front end is twice the size it is supost to be. I called dodge and they want to sell new front end! Does any body know where i can get new braket to weld on. It has many bends and fabing one would be tough. Any help would be apreciated.

get a thick washer that fits the bolt tight and weld it on both sides real good
the bolt hole is to big for washers, maybe 3/4 inch so i thick the braket has to be replaced.
this is the bar that keeps the axle from moving side to side
yes it is the bar that goes from frame to pasenger side of front end to keep front axle from moving to side.
take a torch cut it off and get a good one off another axle or find another axle at a jumk yard
Get some 1/8" thick steel, drill a hole in it, weld it on. :c:
Welding a washer on both sides of the bracket is usually the best way to take care of an out of round hole.
either that or get a t profab 415 bucks and it comes with a new bracket that boltd to the frame 10x better than stock trackbars
