12v to 24v head?
I've been toying with the idea of p pumping my 24v and that got me thinking could I just get a 12v and get a 24v head to put on it? And then just get the injector lines and injectors for what would be a swap on a 24v for a p pump? I kinda want to keep my 24v vped and thought about getting a 12 and swapping heads and doing the injectors and lines like I would for swapping my vp to p pump

yeah its been done. but that was a confusing post

:s: ill trade u a 12 valve head for ur 24 valve. got all redone 12k miles ago on the clock

to put a 24 valve head on a 12 valve you must also change the pistons to 24 valve pistons. the spray pattern is way differnet and needs a different bowl in the piston.

P-Pumped 24V seems to be the big power maker. The P7100 can deliver a ton of fuel, and a 24V head can flow more air and has centered injectors.

Sorry for the confusing post, I was pretty close to falling asleep and then that came to mind. Guess it'd be easier just to p pump a 24v

i thought you could just toss the heads on a 12er. turbostang are you positive?

yeah the injectors on the 24 valve are directly over the piston, where the 12 valves come in more from the side, therefore the bowls are shaped differently for the injector angles. i will try to find some pics for you guys
