Well that didn't help.....
Took the truck to the dealership today hoping to update my computer hoping it would solve this dang shifting problem but apparently I have the OBD OR OBG 1 instead of 2. Next step is to replace the throttle linkage. I'm really hoping it will help. If anyone has any other ideas let me know I don't wanna burn this truck in flames yet =/ Thabks!:argh:

I replaced it a year ago or so and the guy that replaced it says try rarely ever go bad but it may be the problem =/ I'm not sure I was told to get this recall out of te way for the throttle linkage then check the throttle valve

Ok wow guys turns out the throttle cable was the source..... There was a recall in 2001 for 1995 dodges the cable can easily come loose or break so thank you guys so much for all the input! Let's hope hooking back up the alarm won't mess nothing else up!:tu: couldn't have done it without you guys!
