are there any bad thing that could happen if you tighten the high rpm stop screw

it almost sounds like what your talking about would be govner springs if that being the case it could be bad to mess with the stock ones but i've never heard of a rpm stop screw.
but don't take just my word for it lets get some other opinions

He's probably talking about the idle screws....
But, I don't know anything about it. The High Idle stop screw, I mean....

yea i got the low one but the high one is gone on my 94 also

what exactly does this do i've never really heard of it or is it just basically your idle screw?

No long story short and as simple as i can put it... Its a throttle stop.
