Problems with shifting

I have had probls off and on with the tpms sensor or it randomly downshifting..... I hooked up a viper alarm to it and it made it were it wouldn't shift until 50 mph and when I had it unplugged it shifted a little better. Batteries maybe??? And I bought a new tranny for it and everything but every once in awhile it decides to downshift this is driving me insane!!!! I have adjusted the tps accordingly and everything I'm not sure if a linkage is bad or if something is loose or what! If this keeps up I'm gonna sell the transmission and hopefully make it a standard truck. Does anyone know hoe much it might cost to do so and how hard it is??? And if anyone can help me figure out this auto tranny problem. Thanks!!!!
