96 4*4 front end help

can someone with a 94-98 12v 4*4 take a front end measurement for me. i need some one to measure from the ground to the fender well but only if you have 285 tires a stock 16'' rims. i am trying to find out if my front springs are shot because my pass side tire sicks out pass the body line. this is driving me nuts.

What kind of trac bar is on the truck? stock or after market? does the truck lean to one side? Sit level front to back or raked?

it has a 3rd gen trac bar. it has no lift or leveling kit and does not lean to one side. i think the springs are shot.

Just grab you a 1.5 or 2" leveling kit and throw under it (their pretty cheap)

that what i though of doing but i don't like the looks of a leveling kit makes the front look higher than the rear. i can get new front springs for $91 for one

Mine does the same thing, I just thought the body was off a little because the PO rearended a car:humm: Leveling kit makes it level instead of lower in the front but I agree if I were to go to the trouble I'd replace the 15 year old springs. You can get 2'' leveling springs. :c:

i think i am going to put new springs on it. thanks for the help
