Best tranny for 12v

What Is the best tranny you can possibly put behind a cummins 12v

angelic0- 12-02-2010 07:50 AM

it all depends on what you'll be using it for :)

If I had the money and could do it all over again, I would do a 4l80e. :tu: They handle the torque much better than the 47. Unfortunately, it's not a simple bolt-in proposition, especially on a 4X4.

IMO... NV4500 does it's job with great success...

only upgrade your clutch and it will last for a million miles !

of course depending wether it has had good service life or not...
