Diesel Bombers - throttle linkage???

throttle linkage???

i think mine is binding or something, i went to go tow home a friends ford got it all hooked up and started to turn around and let off the go pedal and it was still reving so i get out and wiggle the linkage at the pump and it idles down and it did this a few times and started working correctly again and i think i remeber reading somewhere about there being a recall but i dont know for sure has anybody else had any problems? or know about the recall?

check and make sure your return springs are still there and working right.

:w2: Yup, There is a recall. Check return springs and cable for fraying.

yea springs were my first thought but it hasnt happened since so i was thinkin something might be binding up but ill get it in the garage and check it out but thanks for the input

I know I asked before but you may not have seen it ... in your avatar is that a 12hp associated or united hit or miss engine? I wish I could see a bigger pic of it.
