your tie rods are out or broke. go get an alignment

Yes... Tie rods go almost as often as ball joints on Ram trucks. If you replace all four (which unfortunately can get pricey) and get a front end alignment, it will feel like a new truck. The steering wheel being off set is from an incorrect alignment.

thank you i will get a allinment asap and start searching my couch cusions so i can afford ball joints/ tie rods f being laid off

You got that right. The first thing the tech should do is center the damn wheel! If they don't, they have no god damn business working there in the first place.

Nothing pisses me off more.

We shouldn't have to daddy daycare tech's making good money.

Front end alignment may be set to have negative caster, instead of positive.

Negative caster is like riding a bicycle with the handle bars backwards.
Or like trying to keep a caster wheel on a shopping cart from swinging around when pulling it backwards.

That truck lifted? You usually can't adjust caster because it moves the tire from the center of the wheel well.
