i have a 94 cummins with the hydro boost so i believe it is 94-2000 that has it not positive but will get more on this also im having the same issue with mine except my hydro boost is junk an my pedal is constant hard an it sucks lol

My 96 dosn't have hydroboost but I would suspect that there's a checkvalve or somthing thats letting pressure from the steering into the brake side of the system. :c:
|
send it to vanco. They'll rebuild it and port it for better flow.

Ya like I was saying certain years did and didn't have the hydroboost
What does porting it for better flow accomplish? An easier steering mechanism? Thanks for the info on this |
You sure? I thought Dodge was selective in their years they offered it. I actually made a thread on the hydroboost where this was explained some time ago... perhaps I should dig it up :scratcheshead:

No, I'm definitly not sure, I am sure my 96 dosn't have it. I've also read in this thread that there is a 94, and a 98 owner that do have it. Maybe Dodge just couldn't make up thier mind, either that or it was an option. :c::c:

^ya I'm thinking like you said, that dodge couldn't make up it's mind. Because my '97 had it, although I must admit going from my psd hydroboost to my 12v hydroboost I had NO idea it was hydroboost because it was so seemless in operation.
