So did your blower motor just completely quit working? On all speeds?

blowinsmoke12v 11-02-2010 07:34 AM

HAHA! yeah my blower does now on all speeds i dunno about the a.c the compressor wont kick on...sooo

Okay gotcha. I wasn't sure if you meant your blower motor went or not. If your AC wont go on then your AC clutch is probably toast. I dont think you can get the clutch separate i believe you have to get the entire compressor.... which tend to be pretty pricey.

Make sure your radiator is full first. All your water could have dripped out somewhere.

if the charge in the a/c system is low, the compressor wont click on. take the pressure sensor connector and jump it with a paper clip, if the compressor clicks on first of all turn it back off immediate because your charge is low. take it to a shop and have the leek fixed and charged, it will cost you 150-300 bucks which is pennys compared to the damage you will cause from filling the system with the recharge cans from walmart.

there also should be a relay and a fuse for the a/c clutch, check that first thing.

i know how to fix an a/c system like the back of my hand but ill tell you right now its not a job for the do it yourselfer because you absolutely have to pay a shop to charge the system anyway. filling a system with the cans introduces moisture because your filling it from the low pressure side. the moisture ruins your dryer, the dryer spills its guts out through the compressor and ruins your compressor while filling the orifice tube, condenser, and evaporator core with Teflon and metal shavings from the compressor. just trying to make it a point that you should be very cautious with do it yourself a/c work.

it doesnt blow at all on any speeds. not sure if the compressor kick on or not i just wouldnt blow one day.

If it isn't working at all it is either the blower motor itself or a blown relay or fuse. Did you check both fuse boxes? There is one under the hood, and im not 100% positive where the other is on a 1994 I believe right on the side of the dash when you open your drivers door.

Or possibly your blower motor resistor... But I seriously doubt that all four speeds went out at once.
