You'll figure it out, my word of advise is to fill your question out in your post so we have some sort of idea what your trying to get answers for, as it sits right now nobody on here has a clue what your trying to find, what about MPG do you want to know:c:
fuel mileage is a calculation of how many miles you got per gallon of fuel used
WRT mileage, can anyone tell me which # fuel plate is going to get me the best mileage in my '94 5-speed 12V?
Also, my neighbor and I disagree; we both drive 12V, and both have the low-ratio (4:10 or whatever it is) diffs, and I think that we'd both be getting better mileage with the higher ratio (5:15 or whatever). Does anyone have the facts on this one? Thanks |

dirt diver you ment to type 3.55's for better gas miliage right?
I sure hope he meant 3.55's cause 4.55 and stock tires are going to yield terrible mileage
unless you drive all stop and go drivin with low speeds then those gears could be good for mileage
Sorry guys! typeo but yea a set of 3.55's
OK, I should have looked under the hood before guessing at the numbers, but thanks Dirt Diver, fivepointohno, bobcat67; that's what I thought; lower RPM/mph seemed like a no-brainer to me, I don't know why my neighbor doesn't get that. I'll have to start scouting for the 3.55s... and the money to buy them with.
Dirt Diver, you'll need to spell it out for me, and don't use any big words... what's the smoke screw? Now can anyone tell me which # fuel plate is going to get me the best mileage in that '94 5-speed 12V? One guy was talking about a #100, which I think is a modified #0, full-forward. Can anyone prop that one up? Thanks |
