Cab lights on a 1996 truck
has anyone attempted this...i put them on my 1998 truck but it had the premarked holes..i know on these years dont anybody have templates or measurements anything helps! :tu:
take the headliner out it should have everything premarked under there
i thought only trucks over 98' had the premarked holes
You could always go with the Lund Moonvisor :c:
it wouldnt look right on my truck
Looks good on my 96, of course thats just my opinion :c:
Or just make your own custom holes Lol wellunledd all the wiring and wgat not are already there
replaced my head liner on my 1995 and it had the holes there... its hard to explain but you dont need to measure anything... youll seee once you get the headliner off
yeah my 98 had them holes so it was cake...but hell if my 96 got em too then hell yeah im puttin them on :c:
my 94 and 95 both got the holes so im just assuming that they all had em.
I would consider going with newer cab lights. The old ones look like crap IMO. Look at the ones off a 99+ or some of the aftermarket ones. But the hole spacing may be somewhat different.
well on my 98 i used the 3rd gen cab lights like the ones on my dads 05 common rail and they look so sick
With no pre drilled holes your free to use pretty much whatever style you wish. I installed mine using the Recon set for my year of truck, But I installed my center light about 2 in forward of the others. I thought it looked better.

anyone got a template maybe?
