94 12v bad tps...replace with new still bad
 

:argh:i trouble shot my old tps..first i made sure the ground was good than the signal and power both had 4.99 coming out of it...plugged in the old tps and it was only sending .3 which it has to be .8-1.2... so i replaced it..now the new one reads even else...any ideas?

Yeah you know that arm looking deal that comes off of it there is a way for you to pop it off and you spin. To adjust it I just had to do mine

are you talking about the rod for the throttle

I think so I'll take a pic later so you know what I'm talking about on one end it should havelike a ball snap on it

ok thanks...i've also got another tps coming later today...just told them mine was defective... which i hope it was and i can get rid of the head ake

Yeah no problem and tell me about it!!! I absolutely couldn't stand to drive it why it was like that I feel your pain lol

Have you looked into how to adjust the tps here is a thread that DM had posted up on how to adjust it and the proper measurements for it.
