help fuel leaks
 

ok i bought some 100 hp off nozzles off this boy on here. i replaced the stock ones with these and put everything back in the way it came out and everything i retightened it all to then i put the banjo bolts back in then the fuel injection lines. i go to start it and its cammin hard and hazin bad. i look under the hood while runnin and fuel was seepin out from the banjo bolts soo i made it they where straight and retightened all them then i start it again same thing just now from the holes where the injectors go in. so i pulled the leajin ones out checked the washer and put them back in and tried again same thing. has anybody had any trouble with this and how did u fix it or any pointers would be nice i need to fix asap

I have never changed an injector (yet), but I'd bet the copper washers,or o-rings whatever seals them needs to be replaced with new. :c:

i was thinkin replace the washers and them horseshoe washers too idk of any seals though but thanks for the advice

did you clean any debris out of the injector holes after pulling the old ones? i took a mini shop vac and sucked everything out of the holes to make sure it was copper washer to metal. so nothing was in between the washer. just a thought:humm:

agree with above poast and new washers for sure.

i let them tips soak in injector cleanerfor two hours and cleaned them yesterday and im goin to get new washers rite now any more comments on this would help

get the horse shoe ones too!

im just gonna haul it to a shop and have them calibrate them and pop test and have my pump flowed and get gauges installed. u think 1000 should get that all done

what are you calibrating. i think pop testing should be extremely cheap. i work at a kubota dealership and all it takes for our older injectors is you screw a line in attatched to a small tank of deisel and pump a handle like a jack and there is a manual pressure gauge and you just see what pressure the diesel gets shot out the injector. if somebody wants to charge you very much for that tell them to shove it. and if you read old threads on this site im sure you could manage to do gauges yourself. save that money for bigger abd better things.
