your looking at probably around 2,000 to 2,500 to have it rebuilt right, you can get it cheaper than that but you will regret it in the long run. Judging by your sig you have done some mods to your truck right? You will be money a head to at least look at getting a billett TC and a valve body, or else you will be back in the same boat in a short while. The dodge auto's suck they dont last on a truck thats totally stock. Once you add any kind of power they go out twice as fast.

sorry to hear that:ouch: try searching around on ebay or on craigs list or even on here some times you can find a good somewhat built tranny for a screaming deal that someone has and doesnt need, or even a stock rebuild, if you do decide to get yours rebuilt then try and find a tranny shop with a good reputation for doing diesel trannys, take it to some average joe and your chances are your truck will be back in the shop with tranny problems again in the not so distant future

i would say try and find a take out or a good deal on a rebuilt one-ebay or craigslist, at least put a single disk billet tc in while its out, you can get a good dacco one for around $400, you could also do a valve body from ats, dtt, suncoast, etc. for around $400 and then just put it in yourself
