dies at idle
 

Im new here but was wondering if i could get some help? Its a 96 12v and once it gets hot and the ac is goining it wants to die at an idle. The truck still has good power and idles fine when its cold or theres no ac on. If anyone has any thing that may help it would be great.

my 96 does the same thing. i bumped the idel up and the problem is gone. too much of a load on the power steering and a/c at the same time. bump it up 150rpm and you will be fine:tu:

mine does the same thing, jumpy governor when ac on ideling in gear, put new ofv in didnt help so thats what i was guna do

My 96 does the same thing. I think I'm going to turn up the idle tomorrow.
