Yes, the boost line goes to the manifold. That's why I tried it once without the guts in the AFC in order to eliminate the posibility that it was not getting pressure through that port and not allowing the AFC foot to move out of the way and let the gov arm follow the fuel plate.

glad you got her fixed.i always change my fuel filter at 3,000 so it will not get too gummed up. crappy spot for the filter as not much room there. mine only had two on one side and one on the other, they are all different. getting the side plug back on really kicked my but, fine threads would not bite.:dang:

The pre filter looked as if it had never been taken off and I had to put it in the vise and use a 3' pipe wrench to ease it off without breaking it. Room is not so bad as this has a tilt forward nose. It's in a 93 Ford F700, Eaton FS-6206 6sp, 105k miles . It used to be a 22 ft box truck in a fleet for a large furnishings outlet. I took the box off, shortend the frame, moved the axle forward, made up a shortened driveshaft, built a dumping flatbed with 1000# detachable aluminum side/ramps, etc,etc etc. and presto...... Tow rig flatbed for hauling toys... and it is white. All for $2500 and it even came with a 22'x 8' x 8' garage with HARDWOOD floors. Wife doesn't think too much of the new garage in the back however. :argh:
