ok in my 95 ctd 2wd auto. its all stock except for my od/lockup switch....here lately when i go and start it to go to work the tranny temp light comes on before i can get out the driveway (100ft) i start it and let it build oil pressure and then away we go. the light will go off every now and then but then comes back on....i can stop and put it in park or neutral and give it a few seconds and the light will go off. any ideas?

 

Update: light comes on when i turn the key and if i sit there and wait for 15-20 sec it goes off....and then 1-2 minutes later it will come back on. so on and so forth. i am thinking the sensor maybe but its weird that its on and off like that. or maybe the circuit board behind the light.

 

that is really weird its probally just a bad sensor or lose connection somewhere

 

i was thinkin bad sensor at first but if that was the case wouldnt it just not work at all
