Newer cab on older truck
 
hey guys i have been doing some looking around on hear and have not found just what i am looking for. i just bought a 1994 ram 2500 cummins the drive line engine and frame is grate but the body is totally shot i found a 1999 4x4 half ton that is in good shape for cheep. it is ext cab just what i was looking for but i am wondering if this is going to worth wile or if it is gonna be a pain.

cab should fit, not sure if interior and electrics would work :P

interior is completely different as well as electronics. but everything from your truck should bolt over

Vin issues... Check your local laws on this

well it sounds like it should not be that big of a deal switching over, the laws hear in nova scotia is if you switch cabs you stick with the vin on the new cab.

there has been talks of testing for quite some time, im not worried about it. until then im gonna roll coal :rocking:
