Default Pitman Arm/ Steering Bind

hey guys i just installed my lift
heres the problem, the joint were the two pieces of the drag linkage combine is hitting the sway bar link, would lowering the whole assembly with a drop pitman arm fix this problem. it appears that it would. i also have 7.5"lift on the front. so im sure a drop is needed. any advice welcome asap so i can get one ordered soon

ya im sure you need a pitman arm pretty bad. but you may have to look into a crossover steering system. you cant just go get a 7.5" drop pitman arm and its going to steer like crap probably. anything over a 2" drop pitman arm will start wearin out your steering box quickly. with an 8" lift i would personally go to at least a crossover system if not a high steer system.

dont just go drop 450 into a new steering box. check out agr steering. i had a brand new custom steering box thats is super nice, a high flow pump, a hydraulic ram and all lines and fitting for 880 bucks shipped. (this is the hydraulic assist) there is 0 play going down the road, i can turn my tires when theyre sunk in a ditch with one finger, it was the best money ive ever spent on anything steering related. if you can afford the extra cash i would do it in a heartbeat. i will never own another lifted truck in my life without hydraulic assist. i like the steering more than i like the damn cummins
