Whats Too Much Boost
whats too much boost to run on stock head stud for a 98 12 valve cummins
When the head lifts you know that's too much. This number isn't set in stone. There are factors that need to be considered other than boost.
Upping the timing over 16-16.5* and boost is variable to which turbo.
welcome to diesel bombers and what kinda boost are you running now :humm: and what kinda upgrades have you done nothing in your sig to go by

Do you WANT it to lift? hehe. No but 39psi on the stock turbo wont lift the head it will just smoke the turbo after a period of time

my stock head held 55psi @ 3,000rpm with 15.5* of timing for more than 8 months ... but that wasnt a stock turbo ( silver bullet) |
