Tranny/Transfer Case Questions

alright i got a few questions here, im going to change the oil in my NV4500 and replace it with some of that amsoil MTG stuff, anyone know how to change the oil on that, also my second question im going to change the oil in my transfur case, and repace it with some amsoil stuff, whats the best stuff to use, and last question the seal at the back of the t case is leaking how do i replace that, its the one where the yoke slides into the back of the case, is that replaceable?

easy...............drop the oil from the lower plug then add the new oil either thru the tranny top boot or get a small drill type pump and pump the new stuff ito the top hole till its full

transfer case will take auto trsanny fluid same proceedure as above

the seal on the output tailshaft is easy to do just drop the driveline and the seal is right there man........about 20-25 bucks for a new one

one other additional thing I may add from my experience in the past.........go to Dodge and get the seal from them

I know that goes against everything anybody has ever said about buying parts however its been my knowlege that an OEM seal is way better than any after market seal I have ever found.

flame on dudes I am ready fer ya
