Anyone ever use those plastic dash-plates?
Just wondering if they work and if they look good? It's only 128$ or something like that and would look way better than my damn cracked dash. Input and opinions?

what is a plastic dash plates?
|
Think he's means those plastic type, press on, dash covers.
I can only guess that they would make those annoying creaking noise, with it being plastic on plastic, and all. Remember seeing something about them on some TV hot rod show, as in advertisement placement and buy this product, type of deal. Never been in a truck/car with one, though. |
Ya you can buy them on lmc truck or whatever its called. They have 2-sided tape and fit right over the entire dash board, and look like a stock dashboard. They look pretty snazzy. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with them

Ya everybody asked if I got a new dash because the old one was cratered and the new one looked so good
|
awesome! did it cover EVERYTHING or was there a gap between the very front where the dash meets the front panel?
Is it a pain to install or does it go in relatively easily? |
I have one only because I couldn't find factory replacement for a 76 ElCamino just not enough demand and to old to keep making . Mine the fit and finish is so so but better than what is under it .
