transmission - NV-4500

howdy folks, i am having trouble with a 5 speed nv4500 tranny in a 94 model 12v dodge. I need to purchase a new one. I have gotten 3 or 4 from an outfit in phoenix and haven't had much luck. Where would i get a good transmission from that might have somewhat of a warranty on it? Maybe even one that is upgraded or something as i might be plannning for some more power than usual. thanks for you help in advance

Standard Transission...

Standard Transmission & Gear

Blumenthal Transmission....

Welcome to Blumenthal Manufacturing

Those are your best resources for quality rebuilds on a NV4500.
As for finding one new, good luck.IF you ever find one new prepare yourself for the sticker shock that will be associated with it as New venture Gear has been out of business for a few years and any "new" NV4500's/NV5600's that are around are commanding BIG money........Andy

so 96blackcloud is the name of the place standard transmission or are you just verifying what i said i needed. and i actually found a NEW nv4500 from an outfit name 4x4quad gear and bearing. never been installed and like yall said 4k is a shocking sticker price. Easy to buy a rebuilt at that price. and is bluemethal better or what is the deal with that?

Why ship from Montana when you can get what you need in Texas?:

you should probably get the closer one but Dan at quad4x4 definitely knows his stuff. I've got parts from him before and the overhaul manual.
