Fuel starting problem
I have a 1996 Dodge 3500 dooly with a cummins turbo diesel, about a year ago last November it would not start, found the boot on the fuel shutoff solenoid worn out and sticking, took it off and cleaned, re-installed and it ran until November of 2009 when the weather got cold. Took it off and cleaned again, started for a couple of days then quit.
Bought a new solenoid assembly, installed and it worked for about a week then quit. I can turn the ignition on, manually engage the valve and the truck will start and run. Since the solenoid is new I doubt this is the problem, what else can cause this condition? |

There is a relay up on the fire wall.....it's a 70amp though......also there is fuse-able link coming off the left battery.....I think it's a blue wire.
