dos anyone know what the sensor on top of a dana 80 rear end is and what it tells us? i know its not the vehicle speed sensor cause thats on the tcase

it is a speed sensor for the rear abs

Mine doesn't have abs and has that sensor. It's for the speed tone ring.

it cant be a speed sensor cause when its conected everything still works

its the "rear sensor" its a speed sensor

so with it disconected and under a 91 f350 it dont need used

in theroy if the 91 f350 i put the axles dont have abs under it the i dont need the sensor corect
